Was nice.
Fulfilling in a way.
Left the house at about 7.45 at night,
After frantically wrapping apples,
Preparing Teddy,
And kissing Buffalo paper.
Mom chucked a box of Belgian chocolate before leaving the house.
Got really nervous in the car,
Had to sing songs really REALLY loud
And think about Berry Shuy.
Relieved it until we started walking through the car park.
In the elevator, we got EXTRA nervous.
We had to take deep breaths.
Everyone was staring at us.
Looked like we were giving birth,
All three of us,
Together,
In the elevator.
Seeing the floors increase from G to 9.
"Eep, its getting nearer!"
"3 more floors."
"2 more."
"1 more floor to go!"
"We're here. WE'RE HERE!"
Walked over to the whiteboard.
Looked for Jerri's name.
Surprisingly, it was way at the top.
The nurse showed us the way.
Her ward was like all the way across the hall.
As I was walking pass all the other wards,
I couldn't help but look at them.
And their faces weren't like the,
"Ow, this hurts so bad" look.
It was the,
"I'm gonna die" look.
And that really scared me a lot.
When we reached the ward, Pn Mary Ann was there.
Praying with Jer.
We said hi.
Pn Mary Ann kissed her forehead and left.
Jerri unlike all the other patients was very smiley.
Class without her smile seems very empty.
I missed it a lot more then I actually realised.
Get Well Soon Jerri;
I know your operation went phenomenal;
Missing you more and more;
:D
